The main findings of this condition are that it
increases the chance a person will develop a
condition known as fibrosis in the lungs and/or
liver. Fibrosis is a type of thickening or scarring
which can stop the lungs and liver working as well
as they should do. There is also an increased
chance of developing blood disorders, such as
bone marrow failure or blood cancer.
