Working with others

We listen to, and learn from, those with an interest in what we do and speak to them before making key decisions. One of the ways we do this is through regular engagement with different stakeholders – learn more about each of them on this page.

Patient Engagement Forum (PEF)

The Patient Engagement Forum is made up of a pool of people, including patients, partners, surrogates, intended parents, donor-conceived people over the age of 18 and parents of donor-conceived people, whose views and experiences will help to shape our work and the information we produce.

The group is involved in several activities such as snap polls, interviews, and focus groups.

Members may also consider themselves a key voice who work closely with a specific patient group or who speak on behalf of patients.

The group meet twice a year - autumn/winter and spring/summer.

The organisations represented on the group are:

Licensed Centres Panel

The panel includes 32 staff from fertility clinics and human embryo research centres across the UK, including doctors, nurses, managers, counsellors, scientists and researchers.

Professional Stakeholder Group (PSG)

This group brings together representatives from professional groups across the fertility sector twice a year (autumn/winter and spring/summer), including:
