Our response to the Department of Health and Social Care’s public consultation on gamete and embryo storage limits
We have submitted our response to the storage limit consultation calling for the Department of Health and Social Care to consider increasing the length of time patients can store their gametes and embryos.
Our response proposes a framework that would allow patients who need to store for longer than 10 years to be able to do so, particularly in cases where women are storing electively at a young age to preserve their fertility and need to store for longer than the current 10-year limit.
Our full response is available to view here.
