EU Exit

Following the UK’s departure from the EU on 31 January 2020, we will continue to support clinics during the transition period. As the fertility sector regulator we are communicating regularly with clinics by email and through our monthly Clinic Focus newsletter. We have also developed an EU exit webpage for clinics which provides information and advice regarding the regulatory and technical changes resulting from EU exit and the end of the post-exit transition period.

We have been assured by fertility clinics that they have taken actions to minimise the possibility that the end of the transition period will disrupt patient treatment.
