Authority bids farewell to Andy Greenfield

Andy first joined our Authority in 2009 and has played a crucial role in a number of projects, including mitochondrial donation.

Speaking after the meeting, our Chair Sally Cheshire said “I would like to thank Andy for the wealth of knowledge he has brought to the Authority and in particular the work he has done on SCAAC and on the mitochondrial donation project.  This will change many patients lives for the better and Andy played a key role it getting it approved.  I am pleased that we won’t lose Andy completely as he will stay on SCAAC as an external adviser.  I wish him all the best for the future.”
